Fishwick Cluster
The contract description at Fishwick Cluster was to create a Nature Reserve adjacent to Fishwick Bottoms and the River Ribble. The works included woodland management, construction of new footpath and reinstatement of existing walkways, step construction with associated handrails, erection of steel and timber fencing, the creation of 3 no ponds and a wetland area, desilting of existing waterways, carpark improvement works, planting and maintenance works and the creation of wildflower meadows.
