Approved Contractor status for Salford City Council

Landscape Engineering Ltd are pleased to have been selected as an approved contractor for Salford City Council 2017.

Salford offers an exceptionally strong set of growth propositions that will allow it to develop as a place to live, to work and to visit for a diverse urban, suburban and rural culture. It has unique combinations of city living and space to breathe with the potential to develop and adapt to future working and living trends. With further transformational opportunities at strategic growth locations including Salford Quays, the Western Gateway and City Centre Salford, the city council is looking to maximise investment and funding opportunities and influence future development through collaboration with investors and developers. Salford City Council’s ( https://www.salford.gov.uk/ ) Landscaping and Associated framework expired in April 2017. It has provided significant benefit to the City over the last four years delivering high quality projects.

Following a thorough review of submitted applications the Authority has now procured a new Landscaping and Associated Services framework to facilitate a streamline process to procure requirements over the next two years.

”The range and quality of Landscaping services provided within our organisation helped us to achieve the necessary requirements to supply Salford City Council as part of its contractor framework.

We are keen to grow our reputation and portfolio of schemes .Working with reputable and forward thinking authorities will give us the opportunity to do just that. The huge developments seen recently throughout Salford are both exciting and of a high standard and we are pleased to be part of shaping Salford’s future,” said Gary Birtwell, owner of the Landscape Engineering Ltd group of companies.

”Maintaining high standards within our industry requires substantial work. We successfully achieved our membership renewals of CHAS https://www.chas.co.uk/, Construction Line https://www.constructionline.co.uk/ and BALI http://www.bali.org.uk/ this year. All these come with their own rigorous review methodologies and we are pleased to have secured them all. Together they demonstrate our commitment to Health and Safety, Quality and industry best practice,” said Gary.
